General Maister Memorial Park - BRUTO

Le General Maister Memorial Park est situé à Ljubno ob Savinji en Slovenie. Crée par Matej Kučina et Tanja Maljevac de l'agence Bruto, ce parc de 1500 m2 fit l'objet d'une recherche paysagère tridimensionnelle.

En effet, le parc a été conçu comme un espace abstrait en trois dimensions, où les chemins mènent vers des crêtes d'herbe géométriquement découpées. Le concept formel du parc est une représentation abstraite d'un événement historique et militaire de la région. D'ailleurs, le parcours paysager se termine par une sculpture en bronze, représentant des soldats.

Formellement, le parc est composé de formes triangulées alliant végétal et minéral. La composition rassemble ainsi des éléments en graviers,pierre, bardage bois ou pelouse, longeant le lac de Ljubno ob Savinji.

Cette composition esthétiquement intéressante, s'intègre à un paysage existant, via les matériaux choisis et les formes indéfinies, dont les variantes offrent des espaces d'assise et de déplacement sans nul besoin d'ajout de mobiliers.

Malheureusement, l'éclairage semble être le point faible de cet aménagement, donnant lieu à une lumière directe, non traitée. La lumière aurait pu jouer un rôle important dans la valorisation des formes tridimensionnelles de ce paysage agréable et reposant.

The General Maister Memorial Park is located in Ljubno ob Savinji in Slovenia . Created by Matej Kucina and Tanja Maljevac of Bruto agency, this 1500 m2 park was the subject of a three-dimensional landscape research .

Indeed, the park was designed as an abstract three-dimensional space , where roads lead to peaks of geometrically cut grass . The formal concept of the park is an abstract historical and military events in the region representation . Moreover, the parkland course ends with a bronze sculpture , depicting soldiers .

Formally, the park consists of triangulated combining vegetable and mineral forms. The composition thus combines elements of gravel , stone, wood siding or lawn, along Lake Ljubno ob Savinji .

This aesthetically interesting composition integrates with an existing landscape, via the chosen materials and indefinite forms, variants offer seating areas and travel with no need to add furniture.

Unfortunately, the lighting seems to be the weak point of this development , resulting in a direct light, untreated . Light could play an important role in the recovery of three-dimensional shapes of the pleasant and relaxing scenery.
